I booked for 8 for lunch today and ended up leaving and going upstairs. Your menu is no longer suitable for just a small lunch !
We are a FB Group of Glenda's and I felt terrible suggesting "The Point " today.
We have met there a few times before and loved it but today " The Point " lost our business , unfortunately.
Previously , we could enjoy meals for around $15 as members , now the average price is around $25 plus , it was disappointing that we all had to move upstairs for more affordable options as your outside space is lovely , later we noticed it sits empty .
I'll have to check next time if you have cheaper / smaller meals back on the menu before booking again , otherwise we just go elsewhere
Disappointed.

Our first, and last visit to The Point this evening.
The place wasn't particularly busy but there was a table of about a dozen people seated when we arrived. Service was slow but when we did order we were told there was a half hour wait. Not a deal breaker and at least they told us.
We had the Cajun Shrimp appetiser and it was definitely not Cajun. No taste at all. My wife had the pork belly salad and I had the arvo schnitzel. My schnitzel was under cooked and oily. My wife said her salad was OK but half way through she found something cut her tongue. It was a piece of glass, or hard plastic. By that point we had both stopped eating. The manager did comp the salad which I think was the minimum that he could have done.
The pictures attached here are from after we had finished eating. The last picture is the glass/plastic.
Never again. Too bad because we have just moved nearby and it would have been a very convenient place to take friends.

Lunch is advertised as 'from 11am'. We arrived at 11.05 to be told that they didn't know if the chef was in the kitchen yet. We were the only people there and didn't get our 2 meals until 11.45am.
The meal was good value for the price, but the chicken was dry, and the knives were not sharp enough to even cut the veges.

Ordered fettuccine carbonarra but was not offered pepper mill or parmesan cheese. My partner ordered Thai coconut curry and vegetables. Plenty of sauce but few vegetables.

Nice atmosphere and good food, the live music tonight was nice and not to loud could have a normal conversation, staff are polite.
