We had one of the best lunches we've ever had. The service and food were exceptional. I recommend the raw sea salad and tempura salmon sushi roll. This is a must try!

Amazing - just perfect in every way from the quality of food to service … Kashiwa is still the best Japanese north side of Brisbane - well done and thank you

There aren’t many Japanese restaurants in the area, so I hoped to love this place.
The service was lacking, with the staff not being around much to take the initial order or subsequent ones. When talking to them, they were good.
The sashimi was OK, but not at the right temperature. It gave me hope I would like the restaurant as it was the first plate served.
I ordered the ramen and was very disappointed, so I would not recommend it.
Another person ordered the pork, which was also not as good as what they had elsewhere.
After the meal, I didn’t feel the price matched our lunch and could not see myself returning there.
I tried going a second time, looked at the menu, and did not stay. The menu feels lacking.

Unassuming space housed between fish & Chip shops. A cosy warm setting inside with a good sized menu.
Swiftly seated family group with good availability at lunch time on a busy Sunday afternoon.
The food is very good quality.
Good Vegetarian and vegan options.
Mixed decore but not commercial like many sushi franchises, this place is a real Japanese dine in experience.
The prices are a little higher but you definately get what you pay for.
ACCESS ⚠️👩🏻🦽 Limited difficult seating and entry for those on wheels, there is outside seating (as usual all abilities left out in the cold) only counter ordering.
NEURODIVERSE ✅ The lighting is moody with tucked away seating on the edges so you'll feel quite safe. Sound levels are good. Autism & Aspie's a good place to eat. Positive experience.
